Through the Pollen Mist

By Arcana on June 3, 2018 9:58 pm

A (rather incomplete and rough) live performance of WeeklyBeats - 2018, Week 22.

This was done entirely in the Eurorack shown in the video. No external sequencers, pedals or software involved.

There are a few things that I feel aren't quite right in the song - it's a little rough, the parts get out of sync ever so slightly once in a while, and the bass doesn't sound right - rhythm is slightly off and it doesn't sound good on its own outside of the context of the song.

It took me about 2 hours to create, start to finish.

Still, I hope it gives some insight into making music with modular synthesizers.

Some nice modules in there.  How are you liking the Hermod?  Looks like this one was all SHammer sequencing?

The Hermod is fine, but there are a few bugs in it that prevent me from doing a few of the things I want. I actually use it primarily for interfacing with the computer or if I record live playing (for example, with Tetrapad).

As you can see I didn't use the Hermod for this track.
