The Oak Tree and the Quarry - Alternative Scale

This might sound lazy of me, but this is basically last week's song except I transposed parts of it to a synthetic scale as part of an exercise to improve my composition ability.
For the record, the original scale is C D E F G A B C (C major) but the synthetic scale is C D E# F# G A# B C (so E becomes F, F becomes F#, and A becomes A#).
The initial version I transposed the entire song, and then I went back and then did some shifts from the original scale to the new scale and then back in some places. It's a pretty academic exercise but the point was really to explore how changing notes in a few places changes the mood and the perception of the piece.
