On The Cliff's Edge

Imagine your video game protagonist doing something during a sad scene. This is actually a WIP for a project in mind that needs some more work, but a first draft is something. I didn't really mix it, I was REALLY distracted doing it and wanted to get the composition down more than instrumentation or mixing.

Something that's notable for those who follow my work is that this is a piano and violin piece and it's supposed to be sad-sounding (which is relatively unusual since I normally do EDM).

Yes, that fits the bill. One of the party members had to leave.

It's definitely something different. It sounds appropriately sad, but the strings could do with a once-over (either that, or the piano could use a bitcrush).

Definitely - everything is very dry right now. I'm actually going through and giving the composition a few-times-over. The tone is overall okay, but it's not quite the mood I'm looking for either. Thanks for listening!
