In Stone, Forever Lost

Initially, I wanted to start off doing some kind of cheesy dancey track, but then I wasn’t really sure what images I wanted to invoke when doing this song. I eventually went to try a melancholy melody with some ideas of loss and tension. I was initally thinking of doing something more sweeping, with drops and stuff, but it didn’t really come together and I ended up falling back to common ‘Arcana’ music-making habits.
Thursday, Feb 25. 8:15 - 9:00 PM. Start song. Started rather late this week, I suspect I will not get as many hours as past attempts.
Saturday, Feb 27. 6:46 - 6:54 PM. Continue song. I didn’t get very far last time, only a few bars and no complete sections. Time to try to develop this into a song before it’s too late.
Saturday Feb 27. 9:35 - 10:55 PM. Gutting the track a bit. I did a bunch of really long takes. I think this needs more development but I think I’m finished for the week for this one.
