There’s no secret meaning or images behind this, so I may as well just call it like it is.

Fri, Sept 30. 22:55-23:00. Five minutes of noodling around with an industrial-like sound and some canned drum beats.

I spent all evening trying to adjust my software and hardware setup to play more nicely together when recording audio and MIDI.

Sat, Oct 1. 19:50 - 20:00. I got my guitar fixed.

21:10 - 21:45. I kind of lost track of time this week, so this isn’t very accurate. I don’t really have a strong vision for this track - I’m trying to use my guitar and my TR-8 for this, but the two instruments don’t really go that well together so expect some last-minute changes as I go through this tomorrow before submission.

Sun, Oct 2. 14:00 - 16:15. Late start to the day, not a lot of time left. I’m not feeling particularly inspired today. Let’s see if I can crank out a few guitar-like pop tunes today.

Okay, I really didn’t spend the last two hours on this in seriousness, I was super distracted watching my partner play games and stuff while I was supposedly making music. My guitar is also really rusty and I’m not yet sure how to incorporate a drum machine well into the performance (and it’s not like “rock” is the best use of a TR-8 anyway).

Total time: 2h 30m.
