Hi everyone, hope life has been treating you all well.
This week is a rather quiet and mellow piano piece inspired a lot from c418's work for minecraft.
Been watching a lot of photography videos of all kinds and a lot of the Norwegian landscape got stuck in my head so this is kind of a recreation of how those made me feel.

Not all that spectacular but im very happy to add some slower pieces to my catalog as well to use in videos myself. Chiptune is great but doesent fit everywhere lmao.

Is this recorded in a live location? There's some really nice chorusing going on. Definitely feels calm, contemplative. Now I wanna see Norway.

Thanks for the kind words. No its not recorded. Its just a ableton stock sound called "Childhood Home Piano" with some reverb and limiting to squish it a bit.

I can send you the project file in case you wanna look at it.

Thanks for the kind words. No its not recorded. Its just a ableton stock sound called "Childhood Home Piano" with some reverb and limiting to squish it a bit.

I can send you the project file in case you wanna look at it.

PS: its also just hand drawn into the piano roll with some velocity randomization and purposefully not placing notes directly on grid to give it a hand played feel

The results are really nice. Are you manually staggering the notes or using some humanization feature to shift notes using a command?
