April 29th

Short but sweet - 4 years ago on April 29th and right before I was going to go teach a huge lecture hall full of students, I received a phone call informing me that my grandfather had passed on.  I remember feeling shocked, gut punched etc... and then walking in front of a room of 150 college students and teaching chi-square tests.  This tries to capture some of that.  Hastily written, as to really capture how it felt.

Since I barely got this done, the audio is from Famitracker and not mixed (hence why it's so soft!).  Sorry about that!  Also, an error I found in the .wav file was not corrected- everything should fade at the end.  I guess I forgot to add an A01 command in there somewhere.  Whoops!

Frenetic to  (more) mellow, nice transition.

Serious authentic-sounding melodic shapes and rhythms in the first half, I don't quite know how to express it properly, but it really grabs me the way you use these sounds smile  The mellow break is a delight too

nicely done. sorry to hear about the reason for this.
Can't inhibit though: Chi-square lectures. We've all been there :-)
