Turtles with Sunglasses

By antler on July 29, 2018 8:39 pm

Yay, maturing into the 30's now (アラサーね)!

This week's jazzy chords - almost polytonal at times - some bass soloing, and smooth vibes in general. Get your sunglasses out, also BECAUSE EUROPE IS NOW A SUBTROPICAL BIOTOPE.

(My DMG skipped some snare hits apparently, which I think has to do with the stability setting of the noise instrument, but I found after recording and limiting so I'll fix that for the album release later this year.)

Pretty upbeat for a potential catastrophe.

Well, why not go out with a smile?

It got a little better over the weekend here. It's still pretty hot though.

Good job on the chords, and good job on the Chiptunes=Win feature.

Yay! Thanks, both of you! ^_^ heart

Nothing quite like a new antler compo to put me in a good mood! Those perc breaks were awesome!

Tasty AF! What did you use to make this?

Thanks, Gab! Happy you say that, those breaks aren't in my regular tool box smile

Yay, thanks! All tracks I've done this year are done with LSDJ on a gameboy (in this case v6.3.9 iirc)

Man, trackers remain a mystery to me, especially those running on game consoles.
