Week 7 - Caves of Avalon

By Anon_Buster on February 20, 2022 9:25 pm

The past couple weeks were stressful with work, the couple hours of time I get to eat, bathe, and have a life after getting off work, and making music. I've mainly been frustrated that I haven't slept well, so I haven't had effective workouts at the gym, haven't lost as much weight or gained as much muscle. I understand the "control what you can control: philosophy, but there will always be a level of disappointment that is inescapable. This track came from me trying to figure out the Cyber Shadow track, being frustrated, and doodling. The diads playing throughout this song were the first piece of music I tracked, the beat came because I desperately want to make beats that can drive a song and give it the feel I want. I've been discovering the relationship between the percussive beats and the percussive effect that other instruments can have on a track. PS: Sorry that I haven't commented on your tracks the past couple of week. I appreciate you all.

I've had plenty of weeks like this recently, and know how you feel. I really enjoyed this track though. Feels like it would be a really nice fit in a retro video game. The bass line gives the whole thing a really nice weight.

yaaaa! bang that frustration out!

I like the darkness that the bass brings to this track. This makes the high diads even more interesting. Cool beat as well! I hope the situation at work will setlle for you!

It's a good track, hope you can get your life back in order again
