Week 11 - EDChum

I like the energy of electronic music, so thought I would learn from it, since my tracks are usually melancholy. I learned a lot. After only having an intro by Friday, I learned that sometimes you just have to finish something and plan to go back later. The biggest issue was volume, or lack of it when listening to the drums. I layered 3 kicks and 3 snares atop each other and seemed to get enough frequency range to let you finally hear the kick and, maybe, feel it. I just want to get pounded in the chest occasionally. You know.

I like the energy the first half of the song, the silence in the second half maybe not so much.

I appreciate your comments. Thank you for looking.
The extra space was the silenced reference track that I forgot to omit when mixing down. And the result of a failed double check before uploading the track.

Wow i love the energy of this one. That breakdown a quarter way through is pretty sweet too.
