Rollin' Like a Bidoof

By Anon_Buster on May 30, 2020 9:14 pm

I needed a "quick" track as I worked on a larger project with my guitar. This week was fun, because I learned how to use the step sequencer to program drums quickly, and how to use a multi-band compressor to bring the bass from 40-90hz in line with the track. The sound was overtaken by the boomy kick, now you can "kind of" hear the other instruments.

Really like the way you bring in a new melody line about half way through. Gives the track something fresh for the ears. Really enjoy the sounds you used for this track!

That boomy kick feeels realll goood

Damn, super punchy.  I need to learn your compressor tricks.  This sounds really well mastered with a good solid bass.  Great growly bass line and beat. Like the solo drums at the end... so fat.  Nice work!

Step sequencing can def be very handy.  Once again great use of your drums and the bassy synth.  They always compliment each other so nicely in your tracks.  That drum clap outro was suhweet and made me want moh!
