I got my M8 Model:02 this week, and had so much fun with the built in mic! I was playing around with some metallic FM synth sounds, and it was giving me a robocop vibe, so I sampled me and my kids saying some robocop-esque quotes.

My quotes are above, and my kids are saying:
You're coming with with me!
Book 'em!
Your under arrest!
Your move!

aww yiss, love robocop. groovy beat, nice sound design, especially on those wubby FM sounds. Some might say robocop is not suitable for kids, but I watched it as a kid and turned out fine (arguably).

Thanks! I definitely did not get an appropriate filter when I was a kid, haha, but I think I turned out ok too. I’m trying to do better though. My kids are 3 and 6, and definitely haven’t seen RoboCop, but they never turn down a chance to yell into a mic on my music night. I guess it’ll be fun to have them listen to this again once they get to the RoboCop stage. Now I should go through a bunch of other 80s movies 🤣
