A Moment Of Clarity

By Alphaglitch on January 16, 2016 10:21 pm

Made in Ableton Live 9 using sampled drums and multiple VST synths. This jam is more or less an exercise in creating a sound palette. No real direction, just a flow that's aiming to be deep house I guess. Also threw in the voice of Alan Watts in there, from his speech on Mahayana Buddhism. Hope you enjoy!!

Very pretty, meditative piece--getting a bit of Hillage/Giraudy vibe here, too.  Well done!

I especially like the last 20% or so of the song, after the buildup. The call and response plinky melody is quite pleasing.

This is energetic and soothing at the same time. Pretty good track for a "no direction exercise"... Maybe you find without searching, to put it in a Buddhist context

This guy gets it. Glad you dig this one. Just might quote you in a future "directionless" track.

Haha smile Be my guest, Alphaglitch

The percussive elements are really cool in this and I really enjoy that bouncy delayed crystal-like synth. The speech takes it to a different level but then dawn breaks with those cool pads.  Awesome effect smile The arp has a great sound too.  Nice job!
