The Bright Crisis

By alonemusic on May 13, 2018 10:25 pm

Hiiiii me again.
This week I ran a 10k race so was mostly prepping for that. Boo.. but I wanted to try two things: 1) 5/4 time signatures 2) changing between 5/4 and 4/4... because I don't really do that a lot.

And with me doing running, I wanted to make something to run too, unfortunately it got finished after the race, so alas..

Anyway.. must try more things, learn more stuff, play with more toys. The usual. Enjoy, headphones best, cus thats how I mix yo.

Take care all

ART!:

Supa high energy! Rhythms are insane. Nice work on the mid section. It's like the eye in the middle of a hurricane. Love the outro! Well done.

Mind meltingly good.

So how was it, 5/4? Not as bad as you might think, right?

Thank you! I often forget to put in an middle 8, break or whatnot, and jamming it in really made the track come to life heart

It wasn't as bad! Once I had the drums and the main synth line down it felt good, switching between 5/4 and 4/4 felt quite natural too. Fun thing this whole music malarky!
