Reaching the Tear in the Moonset

This week! Wanted to do something a bit happier. It was an utter pig to mix though, I regret, as usual, the number of layers. Play it loud and you might even hear some of them! The middle section was trying to riff on a song from A Perfect Circle's last album called disalusioned, where the track kind crests and goes nearly silent for a moment, I just thought is a was a great, and underused thing in rock music at least, so maybe it would work here? jurys out on that but it made it fun to build up to a different ending that if I'd just stuck with the faster pace.

This sounds so ... BIG.

It feels really epic and triumphant.  Fun to listen to for sure.  The quiet section I think made for a nice little breather before the grandiosity came back in.  I think it's probably a nice little trick to utilize every once in a while.

If the shenanigans of our generator have told us anything, it's that a two bar worth of quiet in the middle just hits different. In your case, however, it's paired with your amazing sounds.
Your wonderful, wonderful sounds.
