It is the Totality

By alonemusic on July 17, 2022 10:13 pm

This week had multiple restarts. The first version was a slow 77bpm attempt at a groove, but it didn't work.. just a big mess. Then I did a quicker one at 117bpm.. eventually that became this weird track. Not sure why I ended up with a Bond-film esque 'chorus' bit, but hey... It was also getting very hot in my office/bedroom/studio so that might have also had an impact..
Anyway. It has got fun parts! I had a pack of new horn/brass sounds that I really wanted to use, and use them I did.
I especially like that I built out the chords from the 'chorus' into the final section, felt like a proper musician when I worked that out.
Stay cool if its warm where you are, have a good week!
ART

Just wow freaking epic and fun! Such a story in this one. The art and James Bond mention helped prime me for the experience too. I got like...summer beach runner jet ski casual but on the edge of danger adventure from this one. And yeah all the pieces really worked well in totality, while also giving the track individual acts or phrases (I don't know my composition lingo). Well done!

Wow, this one's really amazing~
The gorgeous movements, the modulations and the sections in between
probably great end credits music with the mellow part kicking in at 3:06 but going for an encore at 3:35

awesome, love the instrumentation (chip + guitar + HORNS)

it's reminding me hugely of something but i can't place what?  that's gonna bother me...
