It Is Pretty Good News For Planet Earth

By alonemusic on June 19, 2022 10:30 pm

This week was another endless parade of work. I didn't even start until sunday afternoon. Saturday was entirely taken by taken up by taking part in a 200 person mega game where aliens invaded earth. It went badly. Fun was had.
On the way home I found myself mooching through instagram stories and production tips, and listened to a local producer talk alot about just how much they bouce down and resample in Ableton, so my first idea was to just do that with lots of drums, but then I did it with synths too and that was fun.

Finally I really wanted to keep things short, or at least feeling short, that is where the idea for the ending came in. Building up, good big, go home.

Art?

This feels good, like outro music to an 80's coming of age story like The Breakfast Club or something.

This song is pretty good for my mood, too.

i feel like i'm playing a bit.trip game.  just incontrovertible bright vibes

such a feel-good track! epic uplift! water bottles and lighters are going up everywhere and everyone is smiling so much it's almost scary to wonder how many drugs they took to listen to this track this way, unless... the drug IS the track! yikes

(i love that artwork, too... i read it as though being 'alone' is 'good for planet earth': i do recall when people were most quarantined, the air-quality was best everywhere smile... and "wb2224" is that how we write the weeks and year for weeklybeats? that's so cool! it actually makes me think forward to the year 2224, too... big_smile)

edit: no wait... i think i meant "unless... the track IS the drug! yikes" (ah well, both work)

Yeah! I've always popped a little code on any artwork with WB(year)(Week).. I did this in 2016, 2018 (I missed 2020) Its just to.. I dunno, just became a habit!
