Mini Loggers

By Alex Fun on April 26, 2020 11:57 pm

Another week of finishing up other projects. This beat was made in the last 45 minutes of the deadline. 100% made from my Korg Minilogue (a challenge to myself). 4 layers. Very minimal EQ and compression. Probably a throwaway but still fun to make. Critiques welcome.

The last 45 minutes is where the magic happens. Cool beat and love the minimalism.  Honestly, I have a Minilogue and have never pulled off a complete comp using the onboard sequencer,  Well done.  I am definitely inspired to go back and explore the capabilities. My only critique would be obvious I think. The sound field and tone could be bigger and fuller, but I would be surprised to hear that in a track created in such a short time frame.  Not a throw away.  Maybe a starting point to continue the challenge and explore stereo effects and eq.  Definitely inspired me to do so... so great work!
