Several Paths Ahead

This was a bit of a test with a new iPad app generating chord progressions that should be a bit more interesting than the overused triad combinations everybody uses (consciously or not) - without necessarily going into jazz or atonal: a middle ground that is perfect for cinematic music .As such, I sent such a progression to my Korg Wavestate, the app playing block chords and arpeggios. I was the "next set of hands" improvising melody on top. Given that I did this in a very short amount of time I think it's a very nice hack for those who don't want to dabble too much into theory or simply just want to enjoy something different.

I'd say the test worked. You got a great chord progression, and your melodies and arps added some beautiful color to it.

It's a very nice progression, one that goes on and gets lost in its beauty. Love it.
