Keytomatic

This week has had all sorts of ups and downs and as a result the piece has turned much more ominous and glitchy (in places) than I originally intended. But just as a researcher notes the results an experiment and makes progress on from there we will now do the same.
I recorded a little melody with a flute-like patch on the Arcturia MicroFreak then presented it to the usual suspect Clouds. Then I recorded two additional parts for further modulation and movement including a solo of sorts using the arpeggiator. All this is blended with a steady patterned bass which in turned goes through another Clouds and is dismantled into something atmospheric. Novation circuit brings drums to the fry and that's about it. In the end the original sample resurfaces, albeit being under assault by the remaining glitches from a multi-headed sampler who mangled the solo as an added condiment. Will it manage to survive? Listen and tell smile

This is exactly what I needed to hear. Beautifully spacious and appropriately ominous.
