A Cherish for Peace

A couple new additions that I got with very good prices: for 10$ on https://pulse.audio there is Book Handpan, a really nice library that doesn't just sample the instrument but also has some creative patches starting from its sound. The background in this song is one such patch, with a flute-like pad and percussive hits on the handpan which I find have a rain-like texture.

Also I got LASS Lite from AudioBro which features both full string ensembles and solo instruments. While it doesn't have as many articulations as Spitfire's Abbey Road 2 for example, the legato is more pronounced and the vibrato is more romantic. The sound is a bit gritty but with some EQ and loads of reverb wash it sounded exactly what was needed smile

Beautiful and gentle. I love the blown bottle pad! I went and looked for the Book Handpan right away but I don't have the full Kontakt, so no handpan for me big_smile

Definitely look on the Native Instruments site from time to time as they discount it as a crossgrade from a free library such as Project Sam Free Orchestra. That's how I got it for 99$ and it was definitely worth it as it opens op the door to so many cheap but nice libraries.
