Hopper House - Arturia Microfreak Drumbrute House

By Aisjam on March 1, 2020 11:00 am

So this week I get to play with my#Arturia team, the DrumbruteImpact and the Microfreak.

I do like this cool little combo as they work really well together. This track started as I walked past the local river which the crickets had a good rhythm going.

The Drumbrute was simple and worth it, I many use the solo channels to control it and used the ribbon to create that build up. For the Microfreak I mucked around to make that preset and them made a sequence to match that. After learning how I could use it in a live set, I duplicated the preset and changed the tone to something completely different. This is so when I did the drop, there was only one turn and off I go into the second part.

Extra flavouring was provided by my ukulele run through the Eventide H9 with the reverse echo on to make it more in the background. This was all recorded to reaper and uploaded for all you to hear.

check how i did it here

Digging this, love the acidic bass style and also jacking groove, also anyone goes the extra mile to provide "Extra flavouring was provided by my ukulele run through the Eventide H9 with the reverse echo" gets mega bonus style points. Great work
