Written entirely on Dirtywave M8 Tracker
Light mastering in Audacity (normalizing/limiting/compressing).

A continuation of last week's track's outro, which was the previous week's outro, which was the previous week's outro, which...

Didn't try too hard.
It seems that the time pressure is getting me sucked and stuck into my comfort zone.
That's what shortcuts do to you when you're trying to be efficient instead of taking risk.
This weekly challenge is far from turning into an art statement, more like a way of churning extended loops.
Please don't read this.

Thanks for listening.

I had already read everything before you asked me not to!

I know how you feel about time pressure / no time + confort zone. thats what I feel like ive sort of been doing for a long time now. I questioned whether it was helping me at all but I decided that it does because of improvements to speed and even habitual rough arrangements is exercising the muscles.

ANYWAY. This feels gospel inspired to me with the organ sound and the choir. Not a fan of gospel vibes but this is a great ditty that is easy to appreciate despite it!

There is no right way to do weeklybeats. Making a tune that flows on from the previous weeks' tune actually sounds like you could have a really cool album at the end of the year.

And yes, getting out of your comfort zone often requires some time to actually do that. Or a deliberate 'devil may care' attitude. Forcing yourself to do things differently and not caring about the end result. Good, bad or indifferent. It doesn't really matter how you feel about what you made. As long as you feel like your pushing yourself into new territories.

Anyway, I thought it was neat little tune. Almost like a sound collage. Well done!
