On Saturday morning I found some parts of a beat on my iPad which were half decent so I started playing around with them. I ended up modifying what I found slightly and then tracking it in to logic. The stuff that sounds like guitars is an Arturia keyboard and virtual synth which I added next. I played the beat and just messed around with different presets in that virtual synth before settling on one I liked then I just played a bunch of random stuff till something stuck. I added a guitar amp in Logic which gave it some more life. Lastly I re-arranged a bit and moved around drums slightly and that's the end of this story!
