so this was supposed to be my beat last week, but my internet service went out and comcast spent all day trying to fix it, but didn't. and so i didn't get it finished. so i finished it up for this week, though i'm still using the neighbors internet cause mine won't be fixed for two more days.

this beat was inspired by orangedrink saying he liked the string instrument two weeks ago. i decided to re-use basically the same kit entirely, and i had never really used the arpeggiator in imaschine, so that's what i used here to play some 1/16th notes. i like how much it sounds like someone actually playing a stringed instrument due to some small mistakes. mixed it and did some effects stuff in logic. hope you enjoy!

ha ha ha ha!

I was listening to this without looking at who it was, and I thought to myself, "Man, I really like this repetitive string lead!  That's what my comment is going to be."  and then LOL "LAST WEEK ORANGE DRINK SAID HE LIKED THE STRINGS"

Well guess what?  I STILL LIKE THE STRINGS!

You know what else I like?  The gentle note-bendy thing in the background.  Super tasteful and adds a lot.  Thanks for the shoutout!
