chop chop chop

continuing my trend of imaschine beats because at this point it feels like i could create them forever and never stop having fun. wrote this one this week on a train ride, or two, or three, and then did some mixing/production type stuff with logic. re-using some sounds from the last beat, and introducing some new ones. so, most of the same drum kit is back, and the space-like synth.

sorry for being so negligent with responding to comments these past few weeks. all listens, and comments are much appreciated though. i'll catch up!

have a good week and enjoy.

disclaimer: i didn't actually do any sample chopping to make this beat, but i still like the name.

sunday edit: i posted early this week feeling confident (and not expecting to have any free time on sunday), but then I ended up making a small adjustment to the repeating piano line. posted here - https://soundcloud.com/ahhsumx/morningbeat181022-tracks-mix . oh well! hope you enjoy regardless of which version(s) you hear smile.

Ultra slinky deep groove.  Totally hits just right--those FM dissonant bits put it over the top!  Fav'd and downloaded.

So, no samples were harmed? This makes my enjoyment guilt-free.

oooh this is really fun
