I'm freaking angry and I put some of my anger in this song.  I can't deal with all this bullshit anymore. Men telling women that they're overreacting or that they're not telling the truth, just to stay in their comfort zones and protect their friends, fathers, grandfathers and idols.
Women aren't safe anywhere, not in school, at work, in the public, at concerts, at the doctors and not even at home.
And if we're saying something the reactions are awful "She is overreacting" "He wouldn't do something like that" "Oh, but you probably just gave him the feeling, that he could do that." "Are you sure, that he did that on purpose? Maybe it was a misunderstanding."
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate every man.
BUT I do hate that most men are not raising their voices with us. I hate that they're not helping us, when someone is harassing us. I hate that they're protecting offenders. I hate that they're not as angry as we are.

I'm so thankful, that I do have some men in my life that are hating this as much as I do and that they're  as angry as I am and that they're raising their voices.

To all men: Raise your fucking voices and call other men out for their behavior.
