ADHD

I felt a bit disheartened after last week and took the advice of going for a genre I never tried before, so...Here's my first attempt at gabber ! The second idea was to create half-tempo sections and try to connect the dots during the process. It's a bit uneven but I like the end result - also involves a lot more live manipulation than I usually do.

Digitone is still the only hardware used on this one, however I had to do a bit more editing in Ableton later in the process.

I think the track title reflects what's going on in the track smile (and is also a nod to the hours of sleep I lost in the process, along with postponed work on a research project about...well, ADHD)

Nice crunch to this gabber pie!

I think "uneven" works with the title. I love the lead where the first half is a beep and the last half is a boop. Great percussion - softer, but not overdone. And a nice transition into the more relaxed part.

From melliowest gabber i’ve done heard to wonky techno jazz, that’s good stuff!

Nice little track. Lots of cute sounds and I like it, but it's not gabber. It has some ideas that might be adjacent to gabber. It just lacks gabber's ferocity and impact. Don't get me wrong, it's a cute tune. And well worth exploring further. This kind of floaty, jazzy thing is fun. Good stuff!

Thank you ! Glad you liked it haha, « ideas adjacent to gabber » is a good way to describe the track - this isn’t a genre I listen to so yeah it solely based on my perception of it. Will try to keep exploring the techno/jazz thing as this is something I would like to achieve. Thanks again for listening big_smile
