Eternal Distortions

By Aday on July 17, 2016 5:00 pm

With this week's something I spent more than an hour on for a change.. Actually, I'm *really* glad bitwig is stable now smile It's fun to work with... good session..

And my heart was in it this week more than usual, no idea why... Maybe cause were half way to the end? I wish I knew

I also bought some izotope VST's on special (BreakTweaker, Stutter Edit and Trash2)  .... ... Timestretcccccccccccccccch and distortions smile)

And a bit of Eternal Engine samples ripped, tweaked and destroyed for good measure

Another Stutter Edit user (though I don't use mine as often as I really should). I also happen to have one of the "BitWig Limited" licenses also but I haven't tried it yet. What do you find most compelling about it?

As for the track: I like its overall feeling. I'd associate it with something that you'd hear in a cyberpunk movie or something. The S&H effects totally do it for me. It does give off a kind of random, unorganized feeling to it, but is yet surprisingly coherent, which I think is very fascinating. I enjoyed this, good job.

Thank you Arcana, stutter edit's kinda cool, reminds me of Glitch (illinformed.org) in a way, a pretty fun tool! need to play with the generators at some point..

I initially started trying to make sound with ableton for a few years, then switched to reaper, renoise, to make a full round turn back to bigwig's interface again, clip stuff is super effective(tm) to have again..
