dem duty cycles from studio hell (MidiNES)

By Aday on February 2, 2014 6:12 pm

I've misplaced my main headphones ... and am utterly terrified to mix a proper track this week without them...

This track was made with Renoise to sequence my MidiNES 1.0 (and dust it off at last!) (Enter, stereo mod NES)
+ (some stupid single note jam solo's from my keyboard and some Sweeps and modulation on the 2 pulse channels)

I ran it though the mixer and ESX to give it EQ and stereo and add slight reverb
- Apologies for earth-hum
- I'm having studio hell this week (things not working and my missing headphones)

So I'm releasing this track kind of semi-dry, I might revisit it so I can layer it out and EQ'ed/Processed/etc. (Similar to the processing I did on my Week1 LSDJ vs ESX 'Electrichip' track)

Here it is as a 5 channel NES 'semi-dry (reverb and mixer EQ)' composition (one take)
(deadlines, need sleep) -- Will MidiNES again!

The noise tracks are insane! Where do you conjure this from, mage? big_smile

rock'roll!

Makes me feel like my brain is on fire / Audi recognition portions of my brain are on fritz. I like it!!!!

glad to see someone else using midines here. throw a gate on the track next time to remove that ground hum. i have never been able to get rid of it completely with hardware tweaks alone.

ha! wtf? This is some serious nes glitchness. I can only admire this kind of stuff (the music AND the video)!
