Up in the Air (Up High Version)

Hi again! This week I've entered a song contest, I decided to completely re-record a previous beat from this year, in a different tempo and key. Tell me which version you like better!

They're both great. smile This one seems to change up the chord progression in an interesting way, and it's got a really smooth and fluid character.

like it a lot. it is a very beautiful song. perfect.

This is an all around solid song. Hooked me with that cool guitar opening and then the sung verse was super nice. Lot of variation on the vocal delivery. I also like the pairing of the synth with the chorus section. This is very tastefully arranged, like the little lead up to the 2nd verse, the guitar that plays in the second half of the 2nd verse, the drums and bass keeping a solid groove the whole way through. Definitely adding this to my favorites.

I think the older one is better, it's a little more airy. The best thing would be to find a way to combine the two into one version. A calm sandwich with upbeat toppings.

Me too, I recorded this one for a competition, and made a video of me playing each part to go alongside it. It'll be on my instagram next week!
