Construct

All of August's beats have contained some aspect of the live recording I took. This one only has hats. The back for this track is a stone cutter from building work (which I have used for bass before but in this one it is more prominent and focused on). I tried to go big again, which means you get a somewhat underwhelming drop and a long boring build up. Nevertheless I'm still happy with it. I much prefer to get files like this to an acceptable finish than abandon and forget them. I've used techniques/melodies similar to conventional drum and bass right now but as always with my abnormal un-over-processed touch. This song reminds me of construction sort of vibes - the tunes go up and down like brickwork. Not to mention I have to wake up to that damn bass every morning hmm. Synths are zyn and 3Osc. Made with LMMS.

Pretty solid bass in here, as usual. I love how those metalic sounds get along very well with the ostinato sequence. You take the drum and bass structure and make your own.

It's a great track, indeed smile

great chill dnb vibe.  I want to play Wipeout and listen to this
