City Rain Is Pretty in Retrospect (Edit)

I really enjoyed this one (2022 Week 4) so much that I wanted to turn it into a more complete song, which I did this week. I think it sounds miles better, even though the changes are subtle in places. In others it’s clear - there’s a new main vocal line, more synths and punchier mix. I made a “bongo” style rhythm by hitting my bass ukulele.
Really hits the psychedelic pop vibe.
Hear it rain tonight
We will stay inside
Echoes in your head
Feels pretty in retrospect
I hear it in my dreams
Like rain that’s falling endlessly
It seeps into my sleep
I’ll never know what it could mean
