Feature Presentation

I did an old school electro thing last week and really did intend to do something a bit housier (and less labour intensive) this week, but I've really been feeling that sort of spacey machine funk vibe again, so this is yet another electro thing.

Once more entirely contained in the Digitakt using its song mode and recorded as a single track - so have forgone a proper mix session - but still fairly happy with how its sounding.

This is also an auspicious submission as I've now equalled the number of "finished" tracks I completed last year. WeeklyBeats has been a bit of a revelation to me, I hope the motivation continues.

This is so boppy yet smooth. I love the space sounds, and the pads remind me of Kraftwerk's... Tour de France, I think? (this is a very good thing)

Many thanks! I have a really hard time staying away from big drifty pads.I tell myself "No, just this once no big pads" but I always end up with them.

Ah thanks that's very high praise. Yeah I think I got them from one of Legowelt's free sample packs in the FX section. So very much that sort of vintage synth super high resonance sweep thing that Kraftwerk has going on - good spot!

Many thanks man. When you're surrounded by knobs and flashing lights it's difficult not to make spaceship music...
