I have been playing a lot of Zelda A Link Between Worlds lately. Clearly that did not influence me this week at all...Tried to create the feel of an NES Zelda game overworld theme. So only the noise channel, tri, and 2 pulses on my midiNES and played through my NES. Noticed the originals aren't very innovative with the noise channel so I stuck with a snare-ish sounding note only.

Man, you're SO good at recreating those NES sounds! Getting a very enjoyable overworld vibe from this! Epic track, makes me wanna go on an adventure!

The echo work is perfect.  Well done!  It's true- there was so little done with the noise channel.  I feel like some of the older games just "opened" the channel and then "cut" the sound to create a choppy sound, which you capture very well here!
