It's been a fair while since I did some straight up liquid drum & bass! Drawing on a lot of my oldest musical influences here, feels nice to go back to the music I used to make all the way back at the beginning heart

i like the drum and bass part of this drum and bass track, along with the other stuff, too

thanks hieme, very cool

Awww yeah that is some smooth dnb! Beautiful melodies, snappy drums and excellent breakdowns smile

That piano part is just precious. At some point it'd be neat to get your breakdown of all of the different kinds of d&b there are. Never had much exposure to it before I heard your music!

Goddamn, that piano part is so awesome.  Sounds unreal.  Awesome track this week man.

Your melodies are really wonderful. Really enjoyed this track. smile

It's a pretty diverse world, but I might be able to figure something out. Probably not without making a bunch of more hardcore dnb heads angry haha. Thanks for listening heart

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed heart

Beautiful melodies coming from the piano. The dnb rhythm fits very well into the hole song. Lovely composed.

I was enjoying the piano melody in the intro section but starting to wonder where the drum an bass were and then they came in and just blended perfectly with the piano.  I like how they drop out and come back in later as well.  Nice stuff.

Yeah great composition here.  It still has your signature ambient soundscape going on but with a nice twist.  Very cool

So clean my teeth whitened themselves while listening

The intro is really impressive. The subtle piano and the dynamics of the track when you get into beat around 5:00. I like that change of dimension of the track. This is so high quality, so delicate and elegantly composed that I'm burning all my music instruments and will give pottery a chance.

(I meant obviously 0:50, not 5:00)

When the drums and synth punch in, I felt my heart beat a little stronger. Such a quick, smooth transition. I like the way your tracks are clean and have a brief sweeping transition that gets right into the point of the track.

Hahaha, thank you very much heart

Thank you! I don't usually do that but I thought it kind of worked in this case. Cheers for listening heart

A nice cool drink of that good liquid. Dig the flow, lushness.

Sounds like you're in the zone! Really up beat and positive. Beautiful blend of pads and break beat rhythms.

I enjoy all your music, but it was your dnb tracks that first got my attention, glad you went back to your roots for this week.  The mix and depth of your beats and the bass is so smooth when it drops in, like pouring maple syrup on hot pancakes!  Beautiful mix, this sounds great quiet and loud.

Ahh thanks a ton. I've definitely been neglecting classic dnb rhythms this year, but I've been listening to a lot more of it recently, so I think I'll go back and do a lot more dnb in the coming weeks!
