Bit of an odd week this time around:
For the first time this year I didn't feel happy with anything I made this week. I was bouncing between space-themed wips but none of them were really working. So instead, about 5h before the deadline I did what I sometimes do when I want to start new ideas - I went into my digital art collection and had a piece of art come up at random, and then I wrote something to try and fit the image.
Here's the image I got

Let me know what you think! heart

Wow - now there's a sound I dearly missed over the past weeks.  Beautiful work - keep it up!

Love the contrast between the halcyonic theme and the somewhat frenetic drumming. And that long, suspenseful interlude!

The intro is so nice with that clicking clock and the crackle and that filtered voice...
The beat adds a real nice contrast and on the middle part i was far away and dreaming smile

Absolutely nailed it, conveying the image with music. That's a really nice idea for getting creativity flowing, I might have to give that a shot. Love the soft ambiance and that ticking in the beginning and end, really nice work again.

wow, this is a killer track, that vocal sounds amazing, fantastic drums and beautiful/playful melody, also really like the length of this.

Oh holy crap, this is phenom right away! What are you using on this track? Vox samples, all the lovely chords, all that!

Thank you heart
This one's fairly simple - Pianoteq 6 layered with mda ePiano (+ extra clones for the melodies), bass is a saturated sin wave, and the vox chops were done in the SliceX sampler with some pitch adjustments. Valhalla vintage and STA delay on top, + FX and drums.

this is really gorgeous!
