Writing some new medieval kinda sounding tunes about the fall of the roman empire probably, a subject I really like.

My favorite part was that bell sample at 0:05 and 2:26. Jk this is great, it's got a really cool vibe... I'd say this is one of your best melodies yet.

Always great vibes. Good job.

Lmao that's some precision bell identification. I was gonna mix it in better but then I got caught up in whatever I was doing and forgot. I like how this dumb sample is now like the wilhelm scream of weeklybeats haha. Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed!

Thanks!

Love the "waheeeyyyyyyyyyy" tag hahaha

Also love the opening piano line. Really nice flow to it. smile

This one's interesting. Feels like you've packed even more different ideas and sections into it than usual, and they still flow really well together. smile

Damn, that transition at 1:35 is sweet.  Really cool tune again this week man.  The arrangement is very impressive, so many different parts with different sounds and feels.  Love the ending too, very creative way to close.

Thanks! I have a lot to work on with this tune but it was so much fun to write in this style. Thanks for listening heart

Haha I think that's my favourite part too. Thanks man, appreciate the listen each week heart

I just started playing Civilization and the main melody really sounds closely to what you would hesr when you play as the Romans or something haha. The arrangement on this is amazin

Very cool.  Music about the fall of the Roman Empire should be a genre unto itself.

Nice arrangement, clean mix :d What library are you using for the violin?

Damn man you've done it again.  Week after week I'm amazed at the beautiful soundscapes you create.  There's so much to it.  I'd also like to know what you use for the violin.  Sounds great.

Nice!! How did you get that violin? So natural. Really cool piano accompaniment and subtle embellishments like the bells. Love the chord progressions!

That violin is unreal as it transitions from note to note. The vibrato is fantastic. Im with NWSPR... where is it from? Love the clashing genres. They mesh so well.

The chord changes are siccccck

PLEASE TELL US WHO YOU KIDNAPPED AND FORCED TO PLAY VIOLIN FOR YOU LIVE, IN PERSON, BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY THAT IS FROM A COMPUTER

You are really good at mixing, fyi

Haha nice, I can't deny the influence of the original Rome Total War OST here. Thanks for listening!

Thanks guys! The violin is indeed made by a computer! I use Virharmonic's Bohemian Violin. It's a bit of an investment, but I knew I would be using it a ton, so yeah. Sometimes I still think I should have gotten EastWest Composer Cloud instead though lol. Thanks for listening heart

Yeah I agree, I haven't played any FF but from what I've heard of the OST it has this kind of vibe. Thanks for listening!

beautiful

Yeah, some of the slides and expression in that violin completely had me fooled. Also getting gorgeous jrpg vibes forever

Roman empire - I feel it. Killer violin, had me fooled too. So satisfying when the drums drop, got me grooving.
