UNSTABLE_foolmix

By 0x_colt on March 29, 2026 8:33 pm

This track was entirely produced on the Dirtywave M8 tracker out of a singular mouth-fart noise recorded on the built-in mic; the leads, the bass, the drums, the FX, and everything between were made out of this sound.

The only sound that was not made by my mouth was the break towards the middle, which I tried to recreate with only farts for a little while before becoming unstable, as the title says. LOL

This was not only a fun experiment in sound-design and limitations, but it also sounds kind of cool despite being made of raspberries. I might come back to this idea with real instruments someday.

Let me know what you think down below! heart

It makes me happy that you actually tried to recreate even the drum beat with farts, hahahahaha... Incredible work within that super narrow constraint!!!

Love this fartty lil track, very fun and silly smile

Farty but fatty. Props, mate! smile)

Very cool and very well done.  I love working with minimal sounds and have done similar projects using only one sound.  Keeps it fun and creative!

Really awesome grove on this track.

april fools gang! this goes so hard

Great idea, and nice work with the sample manipulation! FWIW, I think you made the right choice to include that rattle-y break, cool contrast.

Ooof when the breaks come in, yes please! Holy sound design! yikes

I guess you could say this is GAS af!! 😂 fun idea.

So cool, impressive work building all this out of a single sample!

Banging drum cadence, love when the breaks come in. Dark cinematic tone, night stalker. Your synth stabs are fire adds to the creep of the beat.

Love this concept. Excellent work. I can't wait armpit solos.

Thanks all for listening to my raspberry beat. It was super funny to make, and I am surprised even 5 people listened to this and actually took the time to comment. LOL.
