I felt like a caveman in the club making this speedtrash this morning, so I hope y'all feel somewhat similar.

Produced on the Dirtywave M8 tracker with the bass coming from a TD-3-MO.

Please let me know what you think down below! I'm always happy to hear feedback, whether it's positive or constructive criticism.

very cool track. sick drums through out and especially dig the blend when the break comes in.

Acid squad represent! But this track goes way beyond that. First off, your use of the TD-3 doesn't go for the vanilla acid squelch this week. Using a bass synthesizer for bona fide bass? Blasphemy! The boomy kick drum sequence sounds like war drums, it's menacing and sinister. It's like hyping up the army before the battle.

And then all hell breaks loose in part 2. A nice powerful jungly drive there.

My only tiny nitpick would be to make more quick sequencing stuff happen in the fast section. Make it more bouncy to keep with the energy of the drums. Like the nice synth you got on Track 2 could lose the reverb/delay and have some volume gating or other glitching. But that's a small suggestion, I like what I'm hearing as is.

ooof love how thick the bass sounds especially when it rolls around with the kick. Suhweet percussion over those deep kicks.  Oooh and those breaks at the 2min mark \m/ the stuttery hits are very much appreciated.  Excellent driving music for cruisin the neighborhood.

Thank you so much for the in-depth listen and comment! I really appreciate the feedback. As for the blasphemy - I know, right? It started out as a squelchy acid track, but then I just cranked the decay and opened the cutoff fully for a fat crunchy bassline.

I totally agree with your sentiment about "more variation and interest" in the break section. I got super lazy towards the end since I only had about 3 hours to work on the track in total, as I had nothing until Sunday morning. LOL. If I had more time, I probably would've added a few more variations to the break, changed up the lead a bit, and resampled or something. I also probably would've re-recorded the ending tweaks to the decay and resonance of the TD-3, as there is a note in there that doesn't hit quite right.

Regardless, super glad you liked what you heard as is!

Thank you, Mr. Tone! I always appreciate the attention to detail in your comments/feedback.:) I also feel like this would definitely be a good "cruisin' in the hood" track, especially if you have a sub.

This my friend is a head nodding filthy bass monster!
