BLINDED

CONGRATULATIONS ON MAKING IT THIS FAR EVERYONE! Only 26 weeks remain.

Ironically enough, this started out as a fast 90s rave style track, but eventually evolved into some emotional jungle track instead. The real shift was when I took the female house vocal sample and pitched it down four octaves and chopped it up so that it sounded like a male vocalist. Once that happened, I kind of knew where I had to go.

I am also really surprised at how clean the mix came out considering I did all of it in the car while my partner was driving. If it doesn't sound as good as I think it does, I'm sorry. LOL

Produced entirely on the Dirtywave M8 tracker, mixed on Jeep stereo speakers. wink

Let me know what you think! I hope you all enjoy!

I am blinded by the SICKNESS

Very cool! love especially the top synth. Well played!

Great sample choice on this one, super atmospheric.

Love the laid back jungle vibes as well, some tidy rolls.

That slightly bit crushed lead pluck is super tasty.

Love that you keep the beat really tight and controlled with some thoughtful variation.

Alright, on my way to buy a Jeep.
It'll allow me to make great tunes like you.
You really nailed arrangement too!

When I listened to this on Sunday, it immediately reminded me of a DNB guy named Sebass who has the same disease as me. Your vocal element and the mix of the piece sound like this song: https://youtu.be/nEUWB70MAFs?is=E8OZfYJGJsvAch8F

Didn’t know you were a Jeep rider.

I didn’t know the transposed female voice helped in getting this sound. I’ll definitely steal it and try it one of these weeks.

Yeah that’s actually pretty clean, particularly the drums, sitting right where they should. Might need to make jeep mixing a staple

We need more Jeep mixes, this one absolutely slaps!
Loving the super clean drums, they sound fabulous.
