Tried to make synthwave, and ended with a whole bunch of saw wave.

love this!  even before i read your description i was thinkin " man this sounds like a bit/sawed out synthwave track".   i love the faint outro keys in the end.  ill have to look up sunvox because im unfamiliar with it.

haha yep, I started off trying to imitate that synthwave sound with saw wave and before I knew it, the song just didn't seem like it would work with any other wave type... glad you like it.

sunvox is pretty amazing. The interface looks a bit different from more popular DAWs but you only need to know a few things to get started. This is what it looks like for this song -

All your tracks got such a good atmosphere in them. The panning in the intro really did it for me.
The crushed percs are my favorite part of this track.

Really liking the atmosphere, particularly the minor pads on this.  Very nice!
