Undulating Descent

By 0F on January 22, 2014 11:33 am

Since I provided the melody for this week's theme of 'shared melody', I decided I'd refrain from using it in my track. Instead, I wrote a little test track for the multisampled death metal guitar Renoise instruments I made this week. If anyone's interested in checking them out, they can be downloaded here (ZIP file, 82070222 bytes). Feel free to use these in your own compositions, just show me what you make with them!

Again, vocals are a bit rough! Gonna keep trying though. I don't actually write any lyrics for these kind of vocals; they're just a series of grunts, really.. though the chorus sounded like "undulating descent, of the Milky Way", so that's where I got the title from. By the way, it refers to the popular chocolate bar, not the galaxy. Yes, a chocolate bar undulating as it descends into the OESOPHAGUS OF THE BEAST. I promise I'll write something other than metal soon. It's just so fun!

I love that grind snare.
Please keep writing metal forever.

HAHA this rocks

metal never dies

YES! Nothing else but metal can UNDULATE.

impressed by your renoise creations. keep undulating. (and throw in a few more biological references and you'll have a programmed carcass track smile )

Epic.

Man I want a Milky Way right now.

Epic metal of death!

I think you can try and postproc the vocals so they sound more like them guitars freq-wise

Great tracks & grunts, please keep doing metal tracks for some of the wb. I hope you don't mind if I follow your way of grunting without lyrics!

… different… the paleo diet comes to mind… :-) I think the vocals are my favorite!!

man this reminds me of early Dethklok, Hatredcopter etc nice work!
