Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Not quite finished. Kind of an IDM track with some drum n bass bits. Dunno where I'm going to take it but it's maybe more of a proof of concept of some new techniques I'm trying - those being quintuplet arpeggios and randomised loop stretching.
Composed on M8, with post processing in Reaper using Lossy (again!), MS20 filter and some sidechain compression.

In the first "part" (before 2:10ish), the flavor of the dnb breaks, pads and synth combination feels very much like the soundtrack to a mid 2000s racer.
The arps right after also work super well!
