A long-form (14:21) hardware IDM improvisation for my project 0F.digital. I'm pretty happy with the repetition and sound palette of the 2nd half, and am possibly considering editing it down so the track consists of that section alone.

Edited down from a 50-minute track build session that evolved out of having the wrong patterns and tempo settings between Monomachine and Electribe for what was originally a footwork-influenced track.

Gear used:
Elektron Monomachine
Korg Electribe ES-1
Korg KP3+

Great use of ring mod and I dig how you bring that bare melody into context in the 2nd half. The orch hits and the pumping in the second half are nice too. Among other things... lots of ideas in here. My only criticism is that snare goes on a little long and gets a little grating after a while.

Heavyyyy!

So much Variety/pallet you have going on ... orch hits are timeless!
There are some good programmed patterns going on though-out
Good edit!

So much content here, it could easily be three tracks. Other people have said it too but I love the subtle orchestral stabs (how is that even a thing?) and that initial super heavy beat.

can hear some autechre in here, stylistically. my favorite band, so nice point of influence! your presentation is all your own though, reminds me of all their styles blended together from a different vantage point in a way. good work!

Solid! Dig that is akin to a medley of different material

Such a good track. Not just a good weekly beats track, but just a damned good track, period. Keep it up man

phwoar when that snare drops

That's heavy!! Uhhhgggnnnnnnnn!!

beast of a session!  so many different crazy textures.  the fuzzy sampling gives it an amiga quality too.

Really nice, comes  nicely together halfway through, as everybody said, cool distorted fuzzy sound to it! 2016 year of lofi samples!

Good to hear that KP3 getting a bit of use!  Was that the one we got in Japan? :-)   Digging the groove.  Super deep mate.

Awesome track with good sounds!

Like this.

thanks guys!

haha yup that's the one. I've been controlling it via midi. I understand what you mean now about how it colours the sound even when not using the effects, but I kinda like it! I don't think the second section would have ended up sounding so gritty otherwise.

Dig it! \m/

dope shit! keep it coming.

V Nice! Diggin the whippy beatz and the chunky growls.

le fav

Cool beat and I dig the various little sounds that poke through the mix.  Good stuff.
