Weekly Beats - Week 9

By *D*i*a*g*o*n*a*l* on March 2, 2014 9:37 pm

If you've been following my submissions, you know I'm trying to create 52 scenes that will ultimately make an entire screen-play by the end of the year. I'm slowly working towards the big picture, and trying to develop characters that interweave in interesting ways.

That being said, I really need to start story-boarding instead of just letting things come as a stream of conscious.

Lyrics:
I appreciate our talks
I find they’re clear; they have weight, and break the mirror.

We pull the dance out of our age,
And make our minds way more lucid.

I smell the air,
I breathe I’m alive.
I let the world into my skin.
I’m layer, am an action.

Sing out loud
Let them stare
Pull them in
Try to share
In this moment
Beaming
Out
Of
Feelings

Fantastic and moody song. I really like your vocal delivery. Very nice work.

I'm a layer! I'm an action!

Haha... I'm glad you noticed those and gave them a sweet name to boot : )

I've used those in a couple songs live but have yet to record them. There was some composer I guess who was known for their use of them in like every piece...?

great mix and track

Awesome! Maybe I'll make the next 40 some odd weekly beats tracks just whirlygigs.

I think they'd be great in this configuration:

4 or 5 whirlygigs
3 or 4 singing bowls
and an octave range of wine glasses.

Excellent!
