Week 25 - Fugazme

This one was super fun. It grew a ton from the beginning of the week to now. I'd say you should hear the original demo... but no, you really shouldn't
I saw a really tight jazz band play on friday that made me want to make a really awesome drum part (see part two of this song). I also met up with a keyboard player who will be joining me in my musical adventures!
I'm looking for two rhodes players, a bassist, and two drummers.
Any way, this song is called Fugazme because it is inspired by a dream I had where Fugazi was playing a concert on a street corner in Paris. In the dream I was really excited because ... FUGAZI WAS PLAYING A CONCERT!!! I was rocking out, and I noticed that they weren't playing a song they had actually written! I woke up and immediately recorded a rough take of the song and here it is! Its basically Fugazi's newest song...

Lyrics -
Why did you move towards this head trip
And reminisce bitten off tongues?
A murder of punks – mashing about
Cautious but glued to that howling.
I hear and feel a sound (what is this born of)
The broken pieces of (this dream is becoming)
A band I used to breathe – calling out my (you can take this rhythm)
On a corner of a street – in Paris calling out my name (so we will never end)
This gift will make you change our mind
Once you wake up and really feel it
I still remember when you took a bow and left every single one of us note less.
