Tried a couple of things but essentially did something similar as last week:

-Renoise 3.1
-Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator 12
-Korg M1 VST
-D16 Drumazon TR909 Emulation VST
-D16 Phoscyon TB303 Emulation VST
-Plogue Chipsounds VST

A movie-ish atmosphere with an almost out of place solo... I guess this builds up a while, climaxes and die right away hahaha

The mix was pretty much just slamming a maximizer on a slightly clipping master... not sure if it shows?

Once the groove gets going about halfway, very, very cool. Awesome track!

Yeah I really stretched out the intro and tried to make a "patient" song but maybe listening for it for too long clouded my judgment hehe

I respect a good wait before a track gets underway, anticipation adds to the excitement! Don't doubt yourself, this is killer and it's in my faves. Well done!

I see you make good use of the internal Phscyon distortion smile

Wooah, that bass synth/sample in the beginning is reeaaally nice!
And that teasing with the drums is choice, then the 303 bass ohh man. You're a master haha.

Sounds like an into to a DnB track, you carry it on into a longer track for sure!
Sweet track again, looking forward to the coming weeks big_smile

haha the disto is so weird! But I like the weird metallic resonance you can get out of it

Thanks! The bass at the begining is actually just two layers of the PO2's synth stab + a  bit of detune.... but it sounds rave as fuck haha! I just got the D16 plugins recently so I'm fairly new at using 303 and stuff, so thanks even more! ^^

Nice build! And a rich sound pallet.

Love the feeling, atmospheres and bell leads!

January 25, 2016 7:32 pm

mmm, really diggin' this. Really has a cool cybernetic winter-y vibe about it.

and kudos, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who decided to go with bells this week! haha

This is a big bag of Hell Yeah. I really like the long intro/build. I've been thinking about trying renoise and this affirms that I should download the demo tonight.

Ayup! That's the shit right there

January 26, 2016 1:40 am

Dig it! Sounds like act 1 of a Sci Fi story.

January 26, 2016 3:19 am

Sense of tension. And to release the tension " TB303 bass" is great!
Like it ♡

Really digging the climax! (which of course means I dig the buildup as well wink)

January 26, 2016 12:35 pm

Meaty! Liking the bells in the mix

January 26, 2016 5:12 pm

Completely cool.

January 27, 2016 8:07 pm

Hehe Cool!! J'aime le build-up cool

January 28, 2016 8:13 am

Ta version est meilleure dans le fond.

January 29, 2016 7:54 pm

Greeeeeeeaaaaaaat build-up.  Very nice sounds from those operators!  Just low-res enough.  This is excellent.

February 3, 2016 5:30 pm

I dig the slow buildup of the bassline with the added squelchy lead that comes in.  Nice job!
