Wax Hands

This week I concentrated on trying to have a few different parts within the song, rather than a bass line and lead that just looped continually. I used a fake french horn sound in this song after listening to a Song Exploder episode about MGMT and the Flaming Lips. I found that not putting the two parts in perfect sync made them sound a little more realistic.

calm and smooth - I like the toms a lot! and that bass makes me nostalgic of 90's midi tunes, but I like how people are re-purposing those kinds of sounds - cool stuff!
