Escape!

By VCMG on February 9, 2012 1:30 am

So I made this song and I thought up of a little story to it involving a guy who gets framed for a crime and goes on the run and stuff but I think it's too cheesy so I'm not gonna put it up here. You imagine one for yourself.

Also I might have made this a little too repetitive. I can't tell.

Pretty melody.. decent harmonies.. The part about two thirds in is a nice contrast. Well done man. Only real problem i see is the weakness in the snare sound.. maybe if it wasnt so stereoish hehe

Awesome Melodies and Harmonies! The drum track probably could have used a bit more variation, but I still really enjoyed this :]. Great work man!

Nice one V!  Really classic sounding.

From what I can tell, I think he really did it and tried to blame it on his cousin. In the end, he got away in a biplane.  Let me know if I'm close.  Anyway enjoyed the track!

Caught my attention among the shuffle of songs (relistening now).  Very atmospheric, I love the melodies and harmonies!  I agree about the snare sound being "stereoy" when it's on its own in the first part of the track in contrast to the hat which sounds centered and more punchy.  During the middle part the drums all blend together really well though.  Anyway, awesome job.

@NWSPR You got the biplane part correct, except you forgot the cliffhanger ending where the engines blow and he has to make a crash landing into the ocean and then washes up on an island of mysteriousness.

Nice work man.  Someone was telling me about you at Blip Melb and how impressed they were with your melodies - and I gotta agree with them!!  Beautiful melodies :-)   What is this playing out of?

Thanks! This is just a Gameboy going through a Behringer 802.
